ABOUT US
Dr. Manish Sheladia received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Temple University, School of Dentistry in 1999. Prior, he completed his B.S. in Biology at Rutgers University and Seton Hall University in New Jersey. His philosophy is to provide the highest quality care with minimally invasive techniques, to focus on prevention of future dental problems, and to treat every patient like family: with honesty, respect, and compassion.
Dr. Sheladia is a student for life as he is continually expanding his education and is ever-evolving with the newest advancements in dentistry, offering the latest techniques and technology to his patients. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), NC Dental Association (NCDA), Gaston County Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Academy of General Dentistry, and Frank Spear Study Club.
His passion and expertise are cosmetic smile makeovers with an in-depth focus on occlusion and TMJ to create a harmony between Esthetics and Function. Dr. Sheladia has years of experience working with Implants, Crowns and Bridges, and full-mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Sheladia grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, and completed his education in the Northeast corridor.
He moved to North Carolina in 2007, after practicing in Philadelphia, PA; New York City, NY; Southbury, CT; and Edison, NJ. Now he and his beautiful wife (Alpa), daughter (Kira), and son (Avi) enjoy living Charlotte, NC. He loves spending much of his family time engaging in activities like swimming, tennis, skiing, camping, and going to the beach. His other favorite activity is hunting tasty NY style Pizza every chance he gets.

Routine Cleanings
Teeth cleaning which is also known as prophylaxis is a procedure for the removal of tartar(mineralized plaque) that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing, especially in areas that are difficult to reach in routine cleaning.
Implants
Dental implants have become the ideal treatment for replacing one or more missing teeth. A dental implant is compromised of three parts: a titanium implant that fuses to the jawbone, the abutment - the part that protrudes from the gum line, and a crown which is placed over the abutment.
